Sr. Regina, MdI in Brasile, riflette sulle sfide missionarie in America Latina a partire dal Congresso Missionario Americano (CAM) tenutosi in Bolivia nel luglio 2018.
Born in Jardim, capital of Mato Grosso of South Brazil, sr. Eliane is really thankful to her parents for having helped her in her Christian journey of faith until the choice of missionary consecration. Her vocation has brought her in Guinea Bissau, Africa, where she has been able to fulfill her missionary dream.
On 20th of November2018 with lots of gratitude to the Lord the Pontifical Missionary Works (POM) celebrated its 40 years of foundation for the synodal journey and communion until now.
A boy named Jefferson is grown up in the slum. We knew him from his childhood. He used to come to our house. A family “destroyed” or perhaps never existed. His parents were separated and their children were abandoned. The elder brother sold drugs and became drug addict. When he was 15 years old, he was killed by traffickers of drug addicts a few months before becoming a father for his family. ...
It is always God who takes the initiative in the lives of the people, because of this reason, our hearts must be the fertile ground so that the seed may sprout and grow. It is through this image that I recall back with joy the history of my vocation. As a missionary sister, I offered myself to God through a witness of life and self-offering, serving the people in simplicity, poverty and obedience....
