The Friends of Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate
Our history began in an organized way on 3rd November 1997, in Milan, via Masaccio 20, at the Mother House, Provincial Headquarters of the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate. In the presence of a notary, 41 persons took part in the foundation of this Association of volunteers, taking the name “ASSOCIAZIONE DEGLI AMICI DELLE MISSIONARIE DELL’IMMACOLATA”. The Association supports projects and activities in all the continents where the MSI are present, and in a special way in Italy, Guinea Bissau, Cameroon, Algeria, India, Bangladesh, China, Brazil and lastly Papua New Guinea.
The goal is exclusively to be in social solidarity on behalf of people who are underprivileged due to physical, psychological, economic, social or family conditions.
The members of the Association realize and support the works undertaken by the MSI, helping in sectors such as social, healthcare, charity, formation and education, cultural and artistic formation.
