“Hearts on fire, feet on the move”

The Church of Brazil is currently hosting the 5th National Missionary Congress, which brings together missionaries from all over Brazil in the Archdiocese of Manaus (AM). The Congress starts today, November 10th and will end on November 15th and is held at Studio 5 – Convention Center.

The choice of the Amazon region as the location of the Congress intends to discover new paths of missionary activity starting from the evangelizing experience of the Church in the Amazon. The congress intends to guarantee the preferential option for the poor, as a Church reaching out to the existential and geographical peripheries, celebrating the missionary journey of the Church in Brazil.
