The programme Young and Mission in Holy Angels’ Parish Sahibabad was being animated by Sr. Namitha with the help of Srs. Ramila, Rosie and Sahibabad community. It was an enriching experience for all the youth who had participated. Through Pope Francis Letter addressed to young people helped to understand that the role of youth is not just restricted to church, but beyond church, into the world. “We understood that everyone is on a mission to proclaim the word of God, and we as youth should use our energy and the inner fire of youth to make it happen. What the Church expects from young people and how we can fulfil that expectation.” (Anoop Francis one of the participants)

The action songs and various fun activities which lightened up the mood of the program is that all of us are connected to each and every one through Christ. Through Baptism all become the part of Christ thereby we are part of the big Christ’s family.

The most memorable moment was the Taizè Prayer in which the young people felt drawn more closely to God. That moment of prayer accompanied with beautiful songs from sisters lifted the aura of the prayer to another level.

The activities not only helped, the youth of our Parish, to strengthen their bond with each other above all with Christ. The climax of the programme ended with mission Rosary. This helped the youth to unite themselves with the whole world & pray for the various intentions. Prayer in different languages gave them the feeling of being missionary.

Parish Priest Fr. Thomas OFM Cap extended his full co-operation.

We Thank Sr. Namitha who animated this programme for the youth of our parish. We also gratefully acknowledge the whole hearted co-operation from Sahibabad community
